Low Sulphite New Zealand Red & White Wines
Mills Reef Winery was established in 1989 by the Preston family and has since worked hard to establish themselves as one the finest wineries in New Zealand. The vineyards of Millf Reef winery are located in the unique and very special Gimblett Gravels area of Hawke’s Bay, which has a unique microclimate thanks to the year round hot sunning weather and individual stony soil structure. New Zealand is typically known for its cool climate wines including Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, which are produced beautifully and enjoyed across the world, but there are certain areas, such as Gimblett Gravels where areas are greatly suited to producing powerful New Zealand red wines, like Syrah and Bordeaux blends. Mills Reef have earned their reputation through hard work, good knowledge and experience when it comes to wine making and are no strangers to packaging and exporting a top quality bottle of wine that can be enjoyed by anyone.Mills Reef Winery has a stunning purpose built winery that is located further north in Bethlehem just outside Tauranga. Equipped with a restaurant with views over the 20 acre site, this is the place to go when you are in New Zealand. At Mills Reef, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery after being picked where they are crushed and fermented. The entire winemaking process is undertaken by Mills Reef, where they will eventually package a beautifully tasting wine. New Zealand red wine doesn’t come any better than the ones made by Mills Reef. A wide range of the different red wines on offer just go to show how much care and effort has been put in to develop each and every bottle.
